Magnanimous

I fly a decent amount and i always wonder why there are always a seat in between people who dont know each other. Your going to spend who knows how long to people on the plane anyway so why not start now, really the only difference is about 10,000 feet. Now i get the how its awkward but when me and old people have to sit on the floor or stand while your luggage sits comfortably you should reconsider societies hold on your comfort zone. I think there are some legitimate reasons to not sit next to someone and those boil down to about 3 excuses.

1. They smell really bad

2. They are so fat that they are starting overtake the arm rests and a part of them is taking up a portion of the seat

3. You know the person and dislike them enough to ignore them after that awkward eye contact has been made

Basically, make a friend. Not everyone is as creepy as you think they are
